It's the default Blizzard arena frames with a few extra details added in. It allows you to track diminishing returns for crowd control, and also allows you to see the cast bars and health pools of enemies in arena. If you want a very clean and compact UI, sArena may be the choice for you. SArena is very similar to Gladius, but it is a smaller, more compact version - a little bit simpler and takes up less space. It will come with practise, but you need to make sure you do not give too much attention to your Gladius! Below is a picture of the Gladius addon listing all the features i have mentioned. This can be avoided by learning to glimpse at the correct spells and things you need to watch out for. The only potential downside of using an addon like Gladius is that it is easy to tunnel vision and just stare at your Gladius and not the game around you. This is useful as it allows a player to predict if the enemy will use their trinket, meaning you can react by using follow up CC as they trinket, which is very effective in PvP! Gladius also allows a player to track the exact cooldown on their enemy's trinket. This allows a player to avoid or interrupt casts to avoid taking damage, or to stop healing or crowd control. This allows you to react to and deal with that cooldown appropriately.Īnother benefit of Gladius is that it allows a player to track which casts the enemy is making, as it has a cast bar underneath the enemy's frame. For example when a Feral Druid pops Incarnation: King of the Jungle, their nameplate will turn into the Incarnation icon with a timer, allowing you to easily manage the duration that they will be doing increased damage for. Gladius also allows a player to easily manage which cooldowns the enemy is using. Gladius will let you know roughly the amount of time left until you are able to Polymorph the target again with the full duration.
After this, the Polymorph spell is immune for a set amount of time. For example with a Polymorph, the first one that lands will be an eight second duration, the next will be half the duration (four seconds) and then the last will be two seconds.
It is a compact addon with enemy frames that allows you to easily manage DRs (diminishing returns). Gladius allows a player to easily manage all aspects of arena.
